Privacy Policy: Parchi

Summary

Parchi does not collect, transmit or sell any data. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. The app contains no networking code.

What Parchi stores, and where

• Photos you take or choose, PDFs you import, the text read from them, and the details you save (dates, amounts, names, notes, health card details you type in, insurance policy details you type in such as insurer, policy number, cover, premium, nominee and renewal date, doses you tick off, and any home readings you enter or scan, such as blood pressure or sugar).
• All of it stays on your iPhone, in the app's private storage, protected by iOS Data Protection. Photos are additionally encrypted with a key kept in your iPhone's Keychain. The key is never sent to us.
• Parchi only: if you choose "Pulse estimate", the camera and flash are used to estimate your pulse while your fingertip covers the lens. Those camera pictures are processed on your iPhone as a few numbers, are not saved and are not sent anywhere. Only the final pulse number is kept, and only if you tap Save. The estimate can be wrong and is not a medical measurement.
• Reading happens on the device, using Apple Vision and, on supported iPhones running iOS 26 or later, Apple's on-device language model. Nothing is sent to Apple or to us for reading.
• Text read from handwriting can be wrong. Parchi shows what it read next to the original so you can check and correct it.

When data leaves your iPhone

Only when you choose to:

• Export: a PDF you create and share with the system share sheet goes wherever you send it.
• Backups and moving phones: if you use iCloud Backup, a computer backup or Apple's phone-to-phone transfer, iOS includes the app's records, photos and their key in it under Apple's terms and your backup encryption. We cannot see them.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no personal information from Apple.

Children

Parchi is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Your control

Delete any record in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. There is nothing held elsewhere for us to delete.
